Public Liability Insurance

WHAT IS PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE?

Public liability insurance is designed to protect you from costs that you are legally liable to pay as a result of injury or property damage to a third party. This policy can be extended to include cover for sexual abuse allegations and claims.

EA Insurance Services is able to offer the policy as a stand alone cover or as part of a broader pack tailored for your faith or not-for-profit organisation.

WHY DO I NEED PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE?

Your organisation prides itself on running events that support your community. If you run events at third party premises, you generally will need to provide proof of public liability insurance.

If a visitor was to trip and injure themselves whilst on your property or at one of your events, and you are deemed liable, the costs incurred to your organisation could be high. Insurance can assist with the cost of paying a claim, including legal fees incurred.

WHAT DOES PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE TYPICALLY COVER?
